Guests appreciate the spacious twin-bed rooms that comfortably accommodate two, complete with private bathrooms featuring showers. The atmosphere is welcoming, largely due to the attentive and friendly staff who enhance the overall experience.

While the hostel maintains a modest 3.7 rating, its location stands out for visitors eager to explore Beja’s rich cultural heritage. Just a short 12-minute walk from the train station and mere steps from the Convent of Beja, which is a highlight for history enthusiasts, it provides easy access to archeological and architectural landmarks.

Beja Hostel - Arqueologia offers free Wi-Fi, though some guests note the connection can be slow. Hostel in a typical Alentejo manor. Twin-bed room is spacious enough for 2 people, with a private bathroom with shower. Staff is very helpful and nice. Breakfast in semi-continental: cereal, coffee and tea, ham and cheese, loaf of bread (no fresh bread). Overall a very good place to stay a couple days visiting the city and the surrounding area.

It is ok condidering the low price. Location is good for walkers but drivers will have to park farther away since entire area is busy and parking spaces limited to 90 minutes stay from 9a.m. to 6p.m. WIFI internet is free but very, very slow. No breakfast in the house but in walking distance are many ootions.
